👏👇👇👇👏 THIS. 👏👇👇👇👏
This is why I do what I do during "normal" life.......educate my extended family here, in small private groups (online and in person), and one on one for those who need personalized help.
IF we would ever be allowed to see the full and truthful data .... case by case, of those who have lost their lives to this particular virus at hand, I know in my heart of hearts, that those who died had been set up to fail.
A weakened immune system (or any other body system) rarely happens spontaneously. There are triggers.
Surely, lifestyle choices are just that.... a choice. But misleading advertising, mainstream media, sometimes questionable recommendations by world heath organizations, outright sabotage by companies in it for the almighty dollar, and even Google algorithms make it hard to decipher truths that lead to health. A lifetime of this nearly always yields an unfortunate outcome.... thru death or a decreased quality of life. I see it in the pharmacy daily.
Until a person enlists their God given critical thinking skills and begins to piece together information and develop an action plan that is beneficial for their immune system and overall health, that person is literally at the mercy of people and organizations whose motives may have more to do with profit and power than the well being of mankind.
It ends here in my tribe. #joinus!
If you're part of my community (beyond this page), I pray you've been blessed beyond measure in all areas of your life. That's my hope and vision and business model. 💕
I am your scout, your tour guide, and your park ranger.... and I wouldn't be here if I hadn't been duped too years ago.
xoxo ~ liz
Yesterday was a pharmacy 👩⚕️ workday for me.
Masked and gloved.... because that's how pharmacy rolls right now.
It's 10 hours of opportunity to observe humanity while working, and as all recent workdays, there are exactly two kinds of people out and about.... those that are living in faith 🙌 and those that are living in fear 😱 .
"For God hath not given us a spirit of fear: but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." ~ 2 Timothy 1:7
The two.... faith and fear ... cannot coexist in the same body.
I have friends who are elderly and immunocompromised who have been operating thru this season on faith with a sound mind. They are protecting themselves, but standing strong.... shoulders back, and carrying a wink and a smile in their eyes. (These are my dear folks who should and do wear a mask).
I have other elderly friends who are 80+ years old.... strong as an ox still (most of them are farmers 👨🌾👩🌾 and ranchers btw) who are taking minimal precautions, and navigating life as they always have been.... with confidence, humor, and a practical mindset.
These two groups are my personal heroes..... I pray I am like them when I am 80+ and going strong. Life is short friends... and they make the most of every day. 💕
Then, I see others..... of all ages..... shoulders either up around their ears or curled forward, eyes that have lost their sparkle, wearing a mask made of anything they could find. Asking how (or IF) "we" are going to survive all of this... and then go on to quote all that the mainstream media has said for the last many days. Clearly, they're absorbing all that is being dished out.
Fear can be an idol all of its own. People don't start out wanting to be fearful, but the mind is a powerful thing. Constant exposure to fear based media will begin to shape and program the brain until fear becomes the driving force of how someone thinks, acts, and responds. Our immune system responds accordingly to how our brain is programmed.
Fear drives the immune system downward to ultimate sickness. 😷
Faith raises the immune system. 🙏🙌
Faith and fear cannot coexist. The Bible is very clear about this, and interestingly (but not surprisingly) science endorses this statement.
We will become what we think about the most, and it is terribly important to be aware of the type of information we are exposing ourselves to.
According to science, it takes 63 days to develop a pattern in the brain. And, according to the Nielsen report, United States adults watch roughly 5 hours of televison per day (or 77 days a year).
"Tell you vision" .
If what your eyes see and ears hear feed a fear based mentality, I urge you to reconsider what you expose yourself to.
Additionally, if you've never tried the Young Living essential oil blend White Angelica, I'd encourage EVERYONE to keep a bottle on hand and apply it or diffuse it daily. Do it for a month and see if it doesn't change your world.... especially if you spend a great deal of time around negative minded people. #youcanthankmelaterforthistip 😘
Hugs and love friends.
I'm curious about a few things.......
1.Have you ever had an Itovi scan? If so, how often do you get them?
2.Do you understand the information that the Itovi scan relays?
3. Do you own an Itovi scanner? And if so, where do you live?
Itovi updated their app awhile back, and the graphic attached is an easy to read explanation of what the new scanned info looks like . I realized when I was looking at it that I was misinterpreting the scan results slightly. I hope it helps someone else too!
For more information about the Itovi: https://www.itovi.com/
Happy Earth Day friends! Put a few drops of your favorite essential oil on, and go out and wrap your bare toes around the blades of grass, pet a dog, look at the sky, enjoy the breeze, and get some good old fashioned grounding in..... even if it's just for 5 minutes or so today. God gave us this big beautiful world 🌏 to enjoy and to bring us joy!
Really, every day is Earth Day for those of us who use Young Living oils! 💕 Thanks to their Seed to Seal promise, every little bottle o' goodness we have available to us helps us be calmer, happier, healthier, stronger, brighter, more focused, and well rested (among other things ! 😉 )
Have you ever wandered around YL's Seed to Seal website? If not... I encourage you to do so! So much care given to our oils from the time a seed is planted until a package arrives at our doorstep.
What is one essential oil you are incredibly thankful for today and why? ....... I'll send one commenter a bottle of one of my favorite oils. Name will be drawn tomorrow evening (Thursday)
Hope the video below brings a smile to your face.... it's two minutes of happy and beautiful you can enjoy wherever you are 😘 .
Well, today’s foray into an interesting tidbit of medical history got sidelined by The Great Mask Debate 😷. I’ve been in SMH mode since I first heard various heads of “Important Organizations and World Leadership” speak with great concern about the virulence of the virus at hand, and the ensuing discussions of all manner of masks. Wait 30 minutes and information (and opinions) will change.
Keeping up is like trying to catch a greased pig 🐷 quickly.
One thing that has stayed the same tho, is this topic of masks. And interestingly, “they” seem to be promoting masks even more vociferously the further we get into Mask Mania 2020.
Regardless of whether you are pro mask or anti mask, the following information should be helpful. …… because ACCURATE information certainly seems to be in short supply.
The following points to ponder upon are not my opinion. They are facts:
😷1. Let’s start first with the assumption that ANY mask or face covering is better than no mask at all.
This is patently not true, and I find it vexing that people with some semblance of authority would even suggest this. Nonetheless… I shall be referring to both the WHO’s (World Health Organization) and the CDC’s (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) own literature as I explore this topic.
Cloth made masks or scarves may keep dog hair, pollen, or bugs from flying into your mouth and nose, but they will do nary a thing to keep said virus (or bacteria) out of your personal ecosystem.
In addition… REUSE of a used cloth mask with its poor filtration may actually contribute to infection…. ESPECIALLY if you are already harboring lungs that have been compromised. (think COPD, asthma, emphysema, etc)
Here is a study if you’d like confirmation of the above information: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4420971/…
😷 2. Secondly, according to the WHO website, “using a mask incorrectly may hamper its effectiveness in reducing the risk of transmission”.
The WHO website also clearly states this:
Community Setting/ Individual WITHOUT respiratory symptoms should heed the following “a medical mask is NOT required, as no evidence is available on its usefulness to protect non-sick persons. “
Whereas…. “Individuals WITH respiratory symptoms should: - wear a medical mask and seek medical care if experiencing fever, cough and difficulty breathing, as soon as possible or in accordance with to local protocols”
Seems pretty black and white to me (according to the WHO website.... not me).
Sick= wear mask 😷
Not Sick= don’t wear mask
… but don’t believe me, please, do read for yourself.
😷 3. What about other masks? Glad you asked! There IS a difference between mask types AND there’s actually a hot market for them right now in case you hadn’t noticed.
✅ N95 Masks are considered the industry standard in blocking particles. They block particles over 0.03 microns. Said virus has been found to be as small as .02 microns, and according to this website, the N95 mask will work for about 95% of the virus particles PROVIDED the mask size fits the face properly, facial hair has been removed, and other considerations have been taken.
Please don’t rely on me for this information…. Here is the Anesthesia Patient Safety Foundation’s (APSF) information: https://www.apsf.org/…/perioperative-considerations-for-th…/
Not all masks are N95. Surgical masks, as a rule, are not, unless indicated as such. If they are not labeled as N95, the ability to shield oneself from the virus has gone down considerably.
Because N95 masks are a hot commodity, so are (unfortunately) scam artists who make fake ones. Be wary from who and where you buy N95 masks.
Here is information on how to identify a true approved N95 mask: https://www.cdc.gov/…/npptl/usernotices/counterfeitResp.html
Additionally, according to the CDC website, “Used respirators (N95 masks) are considered contaminated and ideally should be discarded after each patient encounter. A user should never touch the contaminated front of the respirator with his or her bare hands. Hands should always be washed after donning and doffing the respirator. “
😷 4. Wearing a used and contaminated face mask (paper or cloth) for long periods of time on a daily basis actually INCREASES the risk of infection TO THE WEARER. Additionally, the longer the same mask has been worn around others, the more concentrated the infectious load becomes.
Add in high warm moisture content, and lower oxygen intake (A mask wearer actually does breathe in less oxygen and more carbon dioxide than a maskless person, especially if worn for extended periods of time), the stress of wearing a mask for extended periods of time (not to mention the said pathogen load now living in your mask)..... and well..... all of these are lovely amenities if you are looking to acquire a truly happy colony of ill mannered bacteria (or virus) to call your very own.
(Even the CDC website has this to say about reusing masks that have not been properly decontaminated: “Used respirators are considered contaminated and ideally should be discarded after each patient encounter.” Please refer again to the CDC website linked above)
Something about all of this seems counterintuitive to what's going on in real life....... or is it just me?
😷 5. Finally…. What about disposing of your used masks? Please discard them properly…. Do not leave them in your buggy, or the parking lot of the shopping establishment. That is just wrong. Used masks, as you have just learned, have a buildup of potentially infectious particulates that could include viruses or other pathogens, and if left around willy-nilly could actually give somebody something…. Which is what we are ALL trying not to do.
Really.... wouldn't it just be easier to work on supporting your immune system? Not just now, but always?
Stay well. Be kind. Operate in truth. 😘
Late last week, I came across several bits of interesting history. It wasn't until this weekend that I was able to tie them together. I hope you find this as fascinating as I did! 😘
📚History is an interesting animal. It only takes a generation or two before an entire story can be obliterated by tweaking the truth or hiding some pretty important facts. However.... it's much like besmirching one's character with false statements.... once the damage is done, the besmircher walks off scott free, while the besmirchee is left picking up the pieces. Sad, but true and it's a terrible injustice.
Today I want to unwrap some unknown tidbits about the Spanish Flu. The Spanish flu extended from the spring of 1918 thru the spring of 1919. According to the CDC website it was "caused by an H1N1 virus with genes of an avian" origin."
🇺🇸 At the time of the outbreak, the US Military was 6 million men strong..... 2 million of which were sent overseas to fight WWI.
☠️ The Spanish Flu killed an estimated 50-100 million people in the pandemic of 1918-19.... or did it?
**********Here's where things get interesting************
I could not find the following information on the CDC website, but will provide links to the "missing" information I did find:
💉 When soldiers were drafted in 1917, JUST AS NOW, they became the property of the US Military institution. They became the guinea pigs for the newly formed Rockefeller Institute when the FIRST large scale human test subject study on an "anti-meningitis vaccine" was performed.
💉 From January thru June 1918.... an experimental meningitis vaccine was given to a large number of soldiers at the Fort Riley Military Base in Kansas.
(The Rockefeller Institute is known as the "birthplace for modern pharmacy". )
Here's a link to the official study from 1918: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/…/artic…/PMC2126288/pdf/449.pdf
💉 Sanitation was not the best. The soldiers were in close quarters. Clean water was still a luxury item. The soldiers did not have the best of food (watch WWI history... canned food which has very little nutrition... was their luxury food). Newly vaccinated with an experimental vaccine.... sent off throughout the world to fight (THAT's kinda stressful don'tcha think?).
💉 More of the experimental vaccine was sent off to other countries..... England, France, Belgium, Italy, and others...
Here's a link to a full article about this if it interests you: https://freepress.org/…/did-vaccine-experiment-us-soldiers-…
(It's written by a former federal attorney, Kevin Barry JD)
💉 The Spanish flu..... it was discovered in 2008, was not a flu at all..... An estimated 92-93% of ALL Spanish flu deaths have been verified to have been related to bacterial pneumonia.... not influenza H1N1 virus.
The co-author of that paper is Dr. Anthony Fauci... the same one who has been speaking in the current White House Press Briefings every evening regarding our current pandemic.
Here's a link to Fauci's paper proving that the Spanish flu was 92%+ a bacterial infection and not the flu itself causing death:
I encourage you all to read the entire article above about the vaccine experiment. It's the invisible history that should be in history books, but was never even made a mention. History was one of my favorite subjects, and I remember writing two papers on the Spanish Flu for some reason back in the 1980's..... but never remember reading this!
It's important to know the truth and the context of all things as they are presented, especially now.
In my studying, I've noticed recently that Google searching algorithms have been loosened up considerably in the last month. I don't have to dig nearly as deep or as hard as I used to in order to find truthful documents (as you will find above).
Please. Do your research. Don't jump to conclusions just because the news or someone with "authority" said it was so. They could be pulling the wool 🐑 over your eyes on purpose, or on accident..... either way, it's still wool..... and it's still your eyes they pulled it over. And that's baaaaad behavior on their part for not using due diligence and investigative reporting.
Know better. Do Better.
With all of the recent scramble and scurry to develop a vaccine for the CV, I've been pretty deep into study mode.
📚 I uncovered quite a bit of interesting information today, and wanted to bring you a few interesting tidbits and thoughts over the next few days....
I find it fascinating that, during the daily White House press briefings, there is nearly always a bit of discussion which revolves around tried and true "older" therapies that warrant some attention. #Babysbeeninthecorner
Hydroxychloroquine is the star player, of course, during these discussions.... it's the man made cousin of quinine... which comes from the bark of the cinchona tree.
Pharmacognosy (the study of plants 🌿 with a medicinal purpose) is tremendously important. Really, it's where the roots of pharmacy lie. The problem is that natural healing agents cannot be patented (as a rule), so there is no large money to be had by Big Pharma in pursuing treatments derived solely from plants. #BigPharmabelievesinprofitbeforepurpose
Quinine was banned as an "Over The Counter" (OTC) supplement in the 90's because it was deemed "dangerous", despite the fact that it has been around for, well.... as long as there have been cinchona trees 😉.
As more and more information is revealed about hydroxychloroquine (and quinine) , it appears there are more studies (deeply buried) suggesting other beneficial uses too. Fascinating stuff!... especially when you dig beyond the superficial.#dontbeafraidtodig
I'm hopeful that this pandemic will bring more of these uses to light and perhaps bring relief to some who have fairly significant disease states.
Hydroxychloroquine is not a drug without potential for harm, but certainly, given the pandemic situation, its benefits outweigh the risk for short term use, particularly for those whose lives depend on it.
To be clear, I'm not a fan of using medications as a crutch when self intervention could hold the cure (I'm not talking about CV here). However, sometimes medications can be used as a springboard for serious self intervention.
What does self intervention mean? We (us... all of us) are the ultimate responsible ones for our health... not our spouse, not our doctor, not our government. Self intervention is pretty simple.... it means caring enough about oneself to care FOR oneself:
Has diet been modified and improved upon to eliminate processed and / or non organic foods as well as any foods that may be triggers for poor health?
💪 Is regular and correct exercise being implemented as a regular routine?
Is stress being well managed?
☠️ Have toxins been removed as much as possible from the lifestyle? This would include common housecleaning supplies, body care products and makeup that are typically loaded with them. It also includes limiting exposure to electromagnetic frequencies 💻.
All of this matters a great deal. Relying on a medication long term will nearly ALWAYS have consequences in the manner of side effects and developed deficiencies the drugs will inevitably cause.
Self care is much like prepping, but without all of the extra toilet paper rolls stashed in the closet. 😉 I would argue that self care is a prepper's most important project. Someone who has practiced self care for any length of time has a stronger immune system AND a level of confidence in their health that trumps fear. And THAT is perhaps the most important prepper's tool of all.... the absence of fear.
More on this topic tomorrow.
Carry on my friends. Let's make this quarantine time count for something positive. 😘 Happy Sunday evening!
Ya’ll have a great weekend! It’s been 80+ degrees here this week…. cray cray weather, even for north Texas in February. It’s been a record breaking warm winter and I’m sure hoping there isn’t one more freeze…. my fruit trees are starting to bloom! #oilyfarmsquirrel #prayingmakeslifebetter #henrithesquirrel
It seems like every time I blink there is a new twist to the news, new theories, new "important people" telling us how to act, do, be, and think.
I was fortunate to grow up in a family that didn't cling to TV at all. Kitchen table discussion and books 📚 were our indoor activities. My grandparents did this, and so did my parents. They taught us to be independent thinkers and not rely on commercials or the news (that was back in the 70's and 80's).
Solid news is even harder to find these days. I qualify "solid" as being able to trace a piece of information back to a peer reviewed study (that wasn't paid for by BIG money), or by tracing a fact backwards til you get to the core. Does what was said actually have feet to stand on.... or was it theory or emotion or partially (but patently) untrue?
I find "half truths" to be especially annoying in the news. 🙅♀️ Half truths are even worse than solid lies because (akin to Satan), quite a bit of footwork is done to deceive someone on purpose by making them accept a concept as wholy true based on a tiny bit of fact... filling the rest in as purely fictitious.
Because y'all..... we want to believe that people are honest and kind.
News is not a game, nor should it be historical fiction. We need unbiased facts.... Our very LIVES depend on accurate information and we are just not receiving it. Clickbait.
😱 Worst economic drop since......
😱 Bye bye Handshakes......
😱 Welcome to face masks, our new normal......
😱 33,000 deaths in the US due to.......
NONE of these headlines are fully true BTW if you investigate them. They contain a shred of truth, but whole truth is much bigger. You HAVE to look at the context of everything spoken and written.
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I'll give a news source a good chance, but I'll do my due diligence in the process. If I catch a source in a fabrication they do not get a second chance.
News should be to investigative truth, not a click-bait designed to ultimately cause anxiety, fear, physiological stress, and sleeping difficulties. (THIS is a fact on which you can do your own research ).
Where do you all go for news these days? Lemme know if you've found other reliable sources out there....'cause I'm always looking.
My current "go to's" are independent journalists, a newspaper called Epoch Times, and the daily afternoon press briefings from the White House.
hugs and love friends~ liz
In this strange world we're currently living in, I don't care if you are an introvert or an extrovert, there's something to be said for individual freedom. I'm missing mine, and I'm sure I'm not alone in that sentiment!
Charlie (my husband) is an extrovert now working predominately from home... he's missing his social time that comes with working in a group office.
I am an introvert and working predominately at home (except when I'm wearing my white coat) is my jam and comfort zone.
We are all adapting aren't we?
Don't forget to use your tools and oil up! ... remember, specific oil blends do help to:
👉 drive energy up 🏃♀️🏃♂️ .....or down 😴
👉 create sunny 🌞 dispositions when your housemates might feel stormy.
👉 help brains function when they'd rather be in bed
Even as adults... there are times we'd rather just crawl into bed and hug our blankies. And that's ok.... just don't make a habit of it! 😘 This is a time of stillness in our lives we will likely never experience again together.
Reflect. Reset. Rejuvenate. Recover. Renew.
You've got this!
Hey there....thanks for stopping by! This is me (Liz James)... an eclectic mixture of holistic (and organic) farmgirl meets pharmacist. It's a synergy that works well as I speak truths and dissect fact from fiction. If you're looking for healthier living options, you've come to the right place!
